Peter T. Cure

Peter T. Cure, CGCS, joined Orchard Creek Golf Club in May of 1998 as the Golf Course Superintendent. He was involved with the construction and growing-in phases of the golf course as well as the opening of the course in July of 1999.
He started his career in the golf course business in 1983. From 1985-1988 he was Assistant Golf Course Superintendent at Pole Creek Golf Course in Winter Park, Colorado - which was voted "Best New Public Course" in 1985 by Golf Digest.
From Colorado, he moved to Waterbury, Connecticut and worked as Assistant Golf Course Superintendent at The Country Club of Waterbury from 1988-1990. He became the Golf Course Superintendent at Crestbrook Park Golf Course in Watertown, Connecticut from 1990 to 1998. During that time, he also took on the position of Director of Parks for the Town of Watertown, and earned the distinction of Certified Golf Course Superintendent (CGCS).
He is a graduate of Springfield College, Springfield, Massachusettes and a member of the Golf Course Superintendents Association of America and the Northeastern Golf Course Superintendents Association, where he serves on the Board of Directors.
