THE RED
DELICIOUS
Don't go right!
This is best played with the left center tee shot giving you the optimum
angle to the two tier green.
THE PAULA
RED
A left center
tee shot must carry the wetlands. Must avoid the fairway and green side
bunkers. Go too long? Welcome to another wetland!
THE IDA RED
At all cost, avoid the wetlands
guarding the right side of the hole. There is a hidden fairway bunker
lined to the left. The green is protected both front left and rear with
bunkers
THE SPY
The most
distinctive feature is the mound in the center of the green. (Not the time to be
King of the Hill!). Better to miss the green to avoid the mound than to
hit the green and have to putt over it.
THE EMPIRE
Straight away
long par 4. Second shot plays shorter due to the elevation change. A
very large putting surface. Don't go long!
THE GOLDEN
DELICIOUS
Wind is a factor
when playing this hole. The tee shot must carry over the Bozenkill
Creek. Avoid the right green side bunkers, orchards left and the pond
long. (Easy par 3).
THE
CORTLAND
Left center tee
shot allows the best access to the daily hole location. Biggest obstacle
is the obvious right ridge which bisects the green. A must is to be on the
proper side of the ridge.
THE STAYMAN
Trouble looms at every turn in this short par 4. Bunkers and
hazards guard both sides of the fairway. The tricky undulating green
finishes as this easy par 4.
THE JONATHAN
Your tee shot must carry the wetlands in front. Avoid the left
side bunkers and find the proper tier of this difficult three tiered
green. Need help?? Tiers run front to back.
THE FUJI
A draw off the tee best negotiates the Hickory tree to the left. The
wetlands right and fairway bunkers straight ahead. An uphill second shot
to an amphitheater green leaves you the best chance for par.
THE ROME
Let it all hang out! Our longest par 4. The barn in the distance
is your best guide off the tee. A downhill second shot to a green
protected by bunkers and apple trees. Those darn apple trees!
THE GALA
Our shortest par 4 gives you a variety of options off the tee. A
classic risk reward golf hole. Drivable in one shot or iron lay up with a
wedge approach. Anything in between is possible. Scores from 2
to 10 is not uncommon. Good Luck!!
THE CRISPIN
Long downhill par 3 to a landing area and putting green that both slope right
to left. The correct shot is right center of the tee.
THE CRAB APPLE
Our signature hole. Grip and rip! Give it all you got.
Target golf at its best. Three distinct landing areas must be found in
order to have a chance at par. The entire left side is wetlands. The
greens are guarded by a pond and bunkers. Don't get too crabby playing
this hole!
THE MILTON
We're not done yet! No rest for the weary. Straight ahead long
par 3. Favor the left side as the green slopes from left to right.
Par is a great score!
THE MACOUN
Your chance to make up some lost ground. Straight ahead par 5,
reachable in two strokes. Accuracy is a must! A moat guarding the
green to the left, right and long is gladly accepting all golf balls. A
great finishing hole!
